NOTE: This is the first poll since the preseason where teams from the Big Ten, Pac-12, MAC, and Mountain West conferences were eligible to receive votes. This has affected many appearance and streak numbers. For now, I'm going to treat them at face value (subject to sudden change), i.e., no asterisks at this point.
Last Appearances:
- Miami (FL) makes first appearance in the Top 10 since the 2018 preseason poll (35 polls)
- Mississippi State makes first appearance in the Top 25 since the 12/2/2018 poll (21 polls)
- Notre Dame makes first appearance in the Top 5 since the final 2018 poll (20 polls)
Weekly Streaks:
- Alabama's Top 10 streak reaches 80, Top 25 streak reaches 200
- Clemson's Top 5 streak reaches 10, Top 10 streak reaches 80
- LSU's Top 10 streak ends at 21
- Oklahoma's Top 10 streak ends at 29
Total Appearances:
- Georgia reaches 600 appearances (#12)
- Notre Dame reaches 820 appearances (#4)
- Pittsburgh reaches 300 appearances (#31)
