Poll Date Change: All regular season and final poll dates that fell on a Tuesday (primarily before 2007-08) have been changed to Mondays. This is based on research that found that most of those polls were actually based on games played through Sundays (as they are now), but they would not be published in the newspapers until Tuesday or later, depending on the newspaper. There are several other polls that fell on other days of the week that are still being researched.
